The spirit is our passions, emotions and our feelings.

The spirit is our passions, emotions and our feelings. If we hold on to an emotion and it lasts, it becomes... a feeling.

Emotions are energy impulses, which produce physiological changes in the physical body. That is why it is so important to feel, think and do coherently, in harmony between these three planes, to avoid the suffering that disharmony can generate.
The body is the vehicle of our spirit on the physical plane, it is the materialized energy. Our body is the sacred temple of the being that inhabits us, our own god/goddess creator of our life (with our thoughts and actions), we take care of it so that our being can expand in harmony.
The mind is energy of the subtle plane, of our brain and the nervous system. It loads with our genetic code, the collective unconscious, our beliefs, memories of experiences, patterns, etc., all of them generate thoughts, which can produce emotions of high or low vibration.
Hence the importance of:
Educate the mind to generate healthy thoughts.
Manage our emotions, validate them without attaching to them.
Use yoga techniques that help us release emotional and mental blockages.
Releasing them helps us so that the physical body does not generate pain as a result of that accumulated energy. If that lasts without being released, it can become some disease, the accumulated low vibration energy became so dense that it materialized on the physical plane.
Yoga is a discipline of self-knowledge, just like Ayurveda, they share philosophy and for both to be healthy it is healthy on all levels of being: mentally, spiritually and physically and, through presence, observation and self-knowledge, they allow us to self-heal and stay healthy.
Why are presence and self-knowledge so important? FOR PART 3:
